A politician in a Caribbean nation was making a speech. In the speech, the politician said, “we are tired of having the queen of England being the head of state. We need to completely free ourselves from the idea of colonialism”. The speech was aired by the media.
The news reached the queen. The queen was told that the Caribbean nation did not want her to be the head of that State. She retaliated immediately and released a statement saying it is not a must that she be the head of state and that the people of the Caribbean nation were free to do whatever they wanted.
The queen of England was trying to express to the politician and the nation her frustration. Especially concerning the black lives matter issue. She did not want to be perceived as an oppressive person, or a person who promotes the oppression of black people. As far as she is concerned black and all people are free.
The reason why she is the queen and the head of state was because it was an advantage for the Caribbean nation to have her as the head of state.
The queen is a representative of colonial influence on the Caribbean nation and a reason for the political stability of that nation.
The politician is a victim of mental slavery. The same as all the people who are participating in the black lives matter movement. The politician and all the people of the Caribbean nation are free but they still imagine themselves oppressed people and slaves.
The elephants were in the zoo. The elephants were young. The zoo manager put chains on the foot of the elephants to control them.
The elephants grew and were fully grown. A student went to the zoo to observe the elephants. The student observed that the elephants were big and strong enough to break the chains. The student asked the zoo keeper why the elephant don’t break the chains. The zoo keeper said it was a mental issue. The elephant believes that the chains cannot be broken.
A commentator in Australia is talking about the stolen generation.
The stolen generations (also known as stolen children) were the children of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, who were removed from their families by the Australian federal and state government agencies and church missions, under acts of their respective parliaments.
The desire and objective of the Australian government and the others was that all future Aborigine generations would be integrated into Australian society.
The debate for the presidency of the United States of America was between Mr Obama, a democrat and Mr McCain, a republican. The audience was listening and the debate was televised.
A woman who was part of the audience was given the opportunity to express herself. She took advantage of the opportunity. She said that Mr Obama was an Islamist.”He is not an American. He is even friends with Mr Osama the terrorist”. Before she could finish, Mr McCain interrupted her speech and defended Mr Obama saying, “this is not true Mr Obama is an American the same as you and me”.
A Jamaican school teacher left Jamaica. She was going to the United Kingdom to become a school teacher. She was immediately employed as a reserve teacher. A few years later someone observed her competence and she was appointed the headmistress of the local school.
There was reaction to her appointment from both the locals who were white and the black community in England.
The white locals threatened to burn the school while the black community accused her of betraying them. They said that she was teaching white children instead of teaching black children.
The American politician Mr Kanye West the owner of the birthday party in the United States of America says people, especially black people should be more independent in critical thinking and in their political views.
The death of Mr Floyd and all the other people who have been murdered, and how they have died is not right and there is no justice in anyone dying the way they died. But at the same time it would be better if their deaths were not a political issue, but a criminal issue. Then there would be Justice.
The bringing down of statues that symbolized and glorified slavery, and the looting and ruining of businesses is a sign that many people are still living in the past. Bringing down statues and protesting does not change the past. The past is accepted.
The worst is to bring down the statues and replace them with statues of slaves. Then slavery is truly being glorified.
Black Americans should stop reminding themselves and other people that they are slaves. They should learn not to be casual when using the “N” word in their music and movies.
It is hypocrisy to use the “N” word on each other, and then when a white person or a person from a different community uses the “N” word on them they protest.
Black Americans should also stop shooting each other on the streets and glorifying drive by shootings. It is again hypocrisy to accept black on black crime and murders but when a white man steps on the neck of a black man their is a riot.
Black Americans should stop using the “B” word on their women. Their mothers, their wives, their girlfriends, their sisters and daughters. The Black American community is the only community in the world that treat their women this way.
We should all show mercy.
